Cysteinylglycine is a dipeptide produced by the decomposition of extracellular glutathione catalyzed by γ-glutamyl transpeptidase. Cysteinylglycine is a highly reactive metabolite. Cysteinylglycine is currently mainly used in neurodegenerative disorders and breast cancer research[1][2][3][4].
